I recreated Saddam Hussein propaganda murals; after the US led invasion many of these murals were destroyed (English graffiti indicates they might destroyed by invading US troops). Although a dictator, it seemed sad these cultural artefacts were lost. I hope the new spatial creates a sense of parody.

In recreating the murals I found they were filled by symbols I did not understand; perhaps this serves as an apt metaphor for the US led invasion in 2003.
